Solar cooking, a way to eat healthy
Of course, the world we’re living in is a ready set go type of world, everybody strives to do something faster and better than his neighbor, than his competitors, than his friends. Well, in this rush we tent to forget to actually live and eat. Or when we eat, we eat rubbish food, and that’s not good, trust me on that.
What we should do instead is coming back to nature and to simpler things in life, such as taking it slowly, like eating healthier, running, etc.
Use solar cooking instead of the traditional way
It is interesting that the sun cooker we keep on speaking about is a way to eat healthier. Really, you can use solar cooking as an alternative to your normal way of cooking food, and the sun as the main energy source for your food cooking. It works and the results are far better from the point of view of your health.
As another advantage, it doesn’t go fast, so you can not rush into things, you need to take things slow and actually…live. You know, in the rush of doing things, we sometimes forget to live. Take a small break, watch the sun helping you cook your meal and think about the important things in live. Laugh, smile, make a joke, it works. If you have a few friends around, solar cooking can be a fun thing to do…
I invited over a few friends and asked them to join me in preparing the meals using a solar cooker. The result was great, beside the fact that we actually had a good meal, we had a great time, quality time together, making fun, drinking beer and playing with our children. And all these, you know why? Because we had time, we had time because we didn’t rush into things anymore, we just stayed there around the solar oven and we lived the very moment. The fun thing is that the oven we used it was not mine, it belongs to one of my nieces, she built it for her school project a few months ago and brought it over for this party.
Great initiative, a great time, a great party! I strongly recommend you to do the same the next time you have the chance! You’ll have a blast!
