“Minimum” Solar Box Cooker

Minimum Solar Box Cookers is the easiest box sun oven to build. Period.

It is made of 2 cardboard boxes that you put one inside the other, an aluminium foil and a glass of the size of it, to put is on top, because heat is concentrated better behind a glass window. Now don’t you think that Minimum Solar box cooker is not much of a helper.

Is Minimum Box Cooker a time and Sun waster?

Not a chance! It is a fully powered oven that works great, competing against any other that you can think of, just that it is easy to build, in a minimal way.

This is maybe one of the recommended homemade solar cookers since it is so easy to build in no time, with minimal expenses. This makes it great as a school project, as a DIY oven, or just a gadget to impress your friends and family.

There are many types and shapes out there and maybe we will manage to cover them if not all, at least a good part of them, here, but this one I am speaking about this very moment is one of the simplest one and at the same time powerful and useful. You should consider building one right this very moment.

As I was saying, this makes a great school project, so you should also encourage your kids to start building one, this way they will get familiar with working with their hands and they will have the feeling of doing something fun and useful. They could even invite you to a sun cooking experience and lunch, who knows! And all these on a minimally designed solar box cooker!
