The solar hot dog cooker?!
Well, if you think you have seen it all, then think again! Did you actually think anybody could have thought of a solar hot dog cooker? No, really!
Such green energy cookers are built for people who usually don’t have another good power source for cooking, so the food cooked there is actually something they actually need, while a hot dog is a fun to eat dish, after all, that I couldn’t have imagined cooked on sun light! But hey, OK, let’s see how one works.
The idea behind a solar hot dog cooker is actually that the box is not closed, the box is actually open and just focusing the light on the hot dog. So it is not actually an oven, it is more of a sun light reflector.
As you can see, there is not much to it, but an open box with a semi circular bottom that focuses the light on the dog itself!
Now, I just ask myself, if it takes quite a while in order to cook a meal, is it still fun to do it? I mean you should wait somewhere around 45 minutes, one hour, depending on how powerful the sun is in your area. Now, I have seen people around already asking what else can they make on a solar cooker, instead of a hot dog. Well, you can cook eggs if you want, I guess it will work the same, just don’t put that stick into your egg, it will spoil it 
Actually it is not a very healthy food what you try to have here, the dog, don’t you think?
Somebody was interested I have seen on a thread on the internet if he could have some popcorn on that one! Man, you ask too much.
